March Club Meeting

Woodland Inn

Thursday, March 18  2010 7pm

Agenda:  Treasurer’s Report; Raffle Update; MNUsa Update; Old Business:
Lady Slipper Festival participation;  New Business: Adopt a Highway;
Vice President immediate vacancy; Adopt a Highway Contract Renewal; Fall Elections/Nominations
 

The Region 2 meeting is at the Greenway Clubhouse in Calumet on April 10th.
Board of Directors Meeting is usually about 1pm, General Membership is
at 3pm and a meal to follow. The meal is "pay your own". Reservations &
prior payment to the Greenway club is required. Attendees need to ebring a
 doorprize. Motion at the March meeting for the ARKS to donate shirts or hats for doorprizes.

The Spring State meeting is at the Lodge in Brainerd April 23-25. Room rate at
$105 plus tax guaranteed through March 30th,. Please mention MnUSA block.
No registration fee but if you want lunch Sat notify Robin at the MnUSA Office.
General Membership meeting is 8am Sat. Committee meetings to follow until 5pm.
Dinner on your own. Board of Directors meeting is Sun at 8am.

Summer Meeting & Campout is in Madelia July 16-18. General Membership
& Board of Directors meetings on Sat morning. Lots of fun being planned by the
Region 5 hosts. Check out MnUSA website or the magazine for more info.

 Elections will be at the Fall meeting, date & place yet to be determined.
Nominations will be accepted at this meeting and the summer meeting for:
VP-2 year term
2 Board positions-2 year terms (currently Lee Konen & Dick Huth)
Sec-2 year term (currently Deb Weiber)
Treas-1 year term (currently Sheri Vertina)
If you are interested in being nominated, come to a
meeting or let Mindy or Deb W know.
Pres Mindy Glennie & Board Members
Arlan Gunnerson & Bill Bergstrom continue on for another year.
